High Performing Salespeople Tips – beginner sales back to basics in the Resilient Sales Miniseries Part 4
Over the past several months, I’ve heard many variations of “it just doesn’t feel right to sell right now”. And they’re all 100% accurate, in a way. It’s been a bad time to be pushy.
But it’s never a bad time to connect people to value, to services and products that will solve their problems and enhance their life.
Which is a basic principle of sales. And today’s video is all about going back to basics.
Because that’s what some high performing sales people have done to be successful in these uncertain times. Check out today’s video to learn more.

When in doubt, go back to basics.
Hi, I’m Kristin Jekielek, a Resilience Coach, and welcome to video four, the final video of the Resilient Sales series. Many sales professionals are continuing to crush it through quarantine.
When I asked them their number one tip for how they’re staying so resilient, and so productive they tell me it’s because they go back to basics. They go back to connecting with people, really reaching out and asking questions from a place of true curiosity and concern, of listening more than they speak, of understanding their pain points deeply, and finding new ways to offer value. And even if they’re offering some of that value for free initially, it is strengthening those connections, and strengthening their pipeline for the future.
Another way to go back to basics is to brush up on your skills. This could be a great time to take a course, to learn some new tactics or strategies, maybe it’s time to re-read an old book, or maybe it’s time to really strengthen and further develop skills that you already have.
Another way to go back to basics, and my personal favorite, is to work on your mindset. Is to develop your mindset so you’re even more ready and resilient in the face of major adversity, because we all know something major is going to happen again at some point, and the more ready for it that we are, the more productive we’re going to be during and after.
If you want some help brushing up on your resilient sales mindset, I’m here for you. I would love to connect and see if we’re a great fit to work together. Just have a ten minute chat to start. If we’re a great fit, then we can talk about next steps then, and if we’re not, all we’ve lost is ten minutes. I left the link down below, underneath all the hashtags, where you can schedule your call with me today.
I really look forward to connecting with you. Thank you for being here through the Resilient Sales mini-series.
I’ll see you next time.
